Waitlist Policy
A down payment is required to hold a student’s position on a course waitlist.
What happens if your student doesn’t get a spot in the section they are waitlisted for?
If your student is not taking any other courses at the Academy, you will be refunded the down payment made on the course and all fees paid. If your student is taking other classes at the Academy, the downpayment will be applied toward open ledgers.

Our Referral Program
Our Referral Program awards active MSLH families with an account credit for each new student they refer.
How do I receive referral credit
- Families are eligible to receive a $30 referral credit for each new student who enrolls at the Hub and lists the current family as the referring family.
- Credit will be applied to one student account from the referring family
- Referring families must have a student enrolled at the Hub for the same year in which the new enrolled family will be entering.
- The newly enrolled family must complete this referral formwithin 30 days of registration in order for the referring family to receive credit.
How do I let WTMA know I was referred to the Academy by a currently enrolled family?
Complete this referral form within 30 days of registration in order for the family who referred you to the Academy to receive credit.
Refund Policy
We will refund any tuition paid for a course if you withdraw your student before:
• June 15th (summer courses)
• September 5th (fall and full-year courses)
• February 5th (spring courses and mid-year transfers only)
Payments from a dropped course will be applied to open payment plans unless otherwise specified at the time of the withdrawal.
Refunds are processed as quickly as possible but may take up to 30 days to be issued.
Courses dropped after the conclusion of the grace period will be charged in full. See Terms & Conditions for details.
Please note: The Well-Trained Mind Academy retains the right to cancel sections which do not meet minimum enrollment. If sections are canceled, all tuition for the affected sections will be refunded.
